Basses

Here is my version of the Acoustic Bass as developed in 2014.

My first idea was to transpose the exact proportions of the classical guitar (at a scale of about 25.5 inches) to the string length of the bass (34 inches). In short, the body length of the Maya corresponds to it (i.e. 26 inches) and the response is quite good, although it is far from the tonality (or format) of the double bass.

This design is a real gem, it corresponds to a -very big- Parlor type guitar. I also have an order for an electric bass, planned for 2026. For me the bass is a -guitar- as such, in short, the bass guitar! It is not easy to execute well and I am open to making new versions of it.

" Agreed. This bass breaks the rules...it is the most consistent,
even-sounding acoustic bass guitar I've played in many years.

Every
note sounds like it belongs with the others. This is so hard to do. "
